My Story

Approx DOB: 6/8/2023 Please also read our Core Values prior to applying at www.furryfriendsnetwork.com/adopt/our-expectations. UPDATED 4/6/2024 - Connie and her sister, Ethel are still searching for a place to call home. The progress they have made is amazing. While she is still quite shy with strangers, Connie has become more outgoing and accepts human affection more and more each day. She likes to be petted, play with the laser pointer, but most of all, she loves treats! Connie will make an amazing addition to a calmer family (young kids will be too much). She gets along with other cats (although she would love to be adopted with her sister or one of her foster friends). She even tolerates calm dogs. PLEASE consider Connie as the next addition to your family! She will certainly blossom into an amazing cat. ****************************************************************************************************** Original posting 9/5/2023 Connie and Ethel came from a very sad situation, being born to a feral Mom, living on the edge of woods. Thankfully, they had a guardian angel who cared for them and worked hard to ensure Connie, Ethel and their three other littermates wouldn't have to live the lives of misery that feral cats have to endure. Connie and Ethel have blossomed in foster care and look forward to finding a home of their own. Each day they gain confidence and are very loving. They will make amazing pets given patience and love. Connie and Ethel love one another and would love to be adopted together. They have all been altered, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, vaccinated, dewormed, and started on flea preventative. Please consider giving these babies a fresh start in life. They have a lot of love to give in return. All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, treated with flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adoption application, phone interview, home visit, and adoption fee required (+ PA Sales tax). Adoption fees are: Baby (Kittens up to 1 year) = $125 Young & Adult (1-7 years) = $100 Seniors (8+ years) = $80 If you are interested in adopting a cat(s), we ask that you complete an on-line adoption application to get the process started. To apply, simply go to www.furryfriendsnetwork.com / Adopt a Furry Friend / Adoption Application. You will receive a welcome email once your application has been assigned to a volunteer processor (this should be within 72 hours of submitting an application). If you do not receive such an email, contact [email protected]. Once your application has been processed (this can take approx. 10-14 days), we will arrange contact with the foster to schedule a time to meet cats you might be interested in. We are an all-volunteer organization and appreciate your patience during this process. Foster Homes are needed in order to help more animals like this one. Please consider opening your heart and home to a homeless animal. Check out our website on how to become a Foster Parent! Visit www.furryfriendsnetwork.com and look under Foster a Furry Friend.
