Cookie is a sweet, orange and white persian. She has been spayed and is very affectionate. She just loves the attention she gets from people. This is one good-looking girl and she knows it! Unfortunately, her former owners thought it was best to declaw her on all four paws and after the surgery, like so many declawed cats, she stopped using her litterbox as she should. She is still young yet, so we are hoping that she can learn to live with her handicap and begin using her litterbox again. We are going to work with her, but any potential adopters should understand that this problem does exist and has been directly caused by her declaw surgery. She has suffered tremendously from this surgery and we are hoping for some compassionate soul with patience to come along and feel she is worth the extra effort and adopt her. Might you be that person? Since she has absolutely NO defenses, this cat will be adopted out to only strict indoor homes and homes without dogs and only with other declawed cats. We are waiting for paperwork, so we are taking applications only on her as of right now. We've only just gotten her this weekend (4-27) and need to wait a bit before she gets adopted out again.
