Personality Types: Professional cuddler and part-time lover. Meet sweet senior Cookie Pemberton! Cookie is a chill cat who loves to sit on your lap and get head scritches. She’s a classy dame who charms everyone she meets with her fancy mustache. Cookie was a house cat her whole life until last winter when she was kicked out into the street when her first owner was evicted. Project MEOW rescued her after searching for a month. Cookie needs a little time to get to know you, but once she feels comfortable, she wants to sit on your lap. She has the sweetest crackling purr: it sounds like a cozy fire on a cold day. Cookie absolutely loves ear scritches and occasionally she’ll even offer her belly for rubs. At night she wants to sit on you in bed and tell you all about her day. Cookie will keep you on your toes - meowing loudly to clean the litter box, getting underfoot when it’s breakfast time, and magically appearing on your chest the second your head hits the pillow!! She loves to sun herself in the window and she sleeps a lot. We also discovered that she is good with young kids. Cookie would do best in a home with a relaxed vibe. and no other pets. While she loves sitting on your lap, she also likes to do her own thing around the house or just hang out near you, so if you need quiet time during the day, she’s your perfect partner. Cookie Pemberton is about 13 years old and is spayed, FeLV and FIV negative, current on shots, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and litter box trained.
