My Story

Hello. This is Cordia. She was most likely born within the last 6 months.. There was a litter of kittens we spotted a while back in someone’s backyard down the road from our house, but they seemed to be staying contained there. As months went by, we saw less and less of the kittens or found them unfortunately too late. Recently we spotted one walking on the sidewalk across from our house and called it over. She came and ate dry food we gave her. She was super snuggly right away and loved petting and was comfortable letting us pick her up. Tiny little orange thing that we thought was a boy at first. However at her appointment for neutering, the vet discovered they would be doing a spaying procedure instead!! Found under the flower moon, we named her after the Florida native orange Geiger, or the Cordia Sebestena. She’s had a rough young life already, and although we can’t say our original name Garfield works anymore, we hope you’ll bring Cordia home to start her new life with you. Cordia has not been tested with other animals at this time, but has seen them through a door and seems to be okay with them. She is now spayed, utd on shots, FeLV and FIV negative, and worm free!
