Stare into these big BLUE eyes and fall in love with stunning Craig! Craig’s was discovered after being accidentally locked in a garage without food or water for five days back in December of 2023. Luckily, he was found in time and has made a full recovery and is a respectable sized boy! We think Craig has always been a stray as it took him a while to be comfortable around his foster family. The vet estimates he is YOUNG, just a year or two old at most. While Craig is timid and will still hide if he hears unexpected sounds, once he feels safe, his beautiful personality blossoms. Craig actively wants to be petted and near you all the time. He also has the cutest purr that sounds like he is “chirping.” He also loves to be near other cats, and his fosters discovered having other cats around has actually helped boost his confidence. A home with other cat-friendly cats would be a great fit for Craig! PLEASE NOTE: Craig is FIV+ This means that he is FINE to be around other friendly cats, but he will need to have his health monitored and regular yearly vet checks are a MUST. This illness is ONLY transmissible through deep bite wounds and sexual contact - not grooming, cohabitating, or sharing litter or food!!!! If your cats are prone to serious aggression when introducing a new cat, we do not advise adding an FIV cat to your home. Craig needs a home that understands it will take time for him to adjust to his new surroundings. His new family should be prepared to give him a small/quiet space where he can feel safe to retreat until he builds confidence/comfort in his new environment. By gently showing him love, over time he will come out of his shell and show you all the affection you could ask for. Please know Craig has not been around children or dogs, so it is unknown how he will respond (especially since he is scared of unexpected noises). Craig is fixed and vaccinated and will be microchipped before being adopted.
