Update: Barncats
Fiona (black) and Mia (grey/white) are a bonded pair of Semi-Feral cats. They are both fierce hunters but are scared to let people get close to them. They are both food motivated and may become friendly with a patient family. Churu is a favorite treat for both! I cannot get a lot of pictures-most are blurry.
They are both fostered in Owens Cross Roads, Al.
Fiona is extremely beautiful and equally shy. She is semi-feral and will not come to you. I have been working with her for months and she is making progress but it’s very slow. She now will stay in the same room and let me close but if she thinks I’m going to touch her-she’s gone. With a patient person she could become a great indoor companion. It would need to be a calm environment for her to learn she is safe and can trust people. She has a sister (Mia) who is equally shy and they would make a great pair of barncats and would love to be adopted together.
