Layla has only one eye! Her limited vision means she appreciates gentle pets on her good eye side, where she can fully enjoy the affection. She's a bigger gal, and at her weight, Layla prefers short bursts of activity followed by rest to conserve her energy. You might find her gently plopping down on her side for a brief moment of panting before regaining her composure. Initially shy, Layla quickly warms up and reveals her super-friendly personality once she feels safe and comfortable. Her favorite pastimes include playing with catnip toys and rubbing against your legs affectionately. Around other cats, Layla can be a bit hissy and cautious, preferring to retreat to her kennel space for security. The presence of dogs startles her, prompting a similar retreat to her safe haven. Her communication skills are endearing, characterized by the cutest little meows that express her needs and contentment. Layla adores people of all ages and backgrounds, thriving on companionship and human interaction. She has a healthy appetite, particularly enjoying wet food, which adds to her overall charm and affectionate nature. Layla is from an owner surrender.
