Leo and Tommy

Leontyne (Leo for short) was a solo bottle baby one of our fosters kindly took in from Animal Care Center and bottle fed until the foster had to go out of town. Her current foster mom, Emily, kept up the bottle-feeding until little Leo was eating on her own. She was a very lonely little kitten, so, when a former neighbor happened to email Brooklyn Animal Action and one of our rescuers recognized her name and responded right away, we agreed to immediately take in the singleton Tommy, who was living as a 3-week-old kitten in a box outside. Once we fully vetted the two kittens (to be sure they posed no harm to each other), we put them together and... they fell in love immediately and were both so, so happy to have a friend! They play together and adore each other. What a happy ending to a lonely start for each of these wee babies. Leo and Tommy are bonded now and want to spend the rest of their lives together in a wonderful furrever home! Leo and Tommy are about 3 months old, both tested FIV and FELV negative, have been treated for parasites and have had their first vaccines. They will need boosters, which can be done through us with a bit of coordination. Their spay and neuter surgeries are included in our adoption fee if you bring them back to us at the appropriate age of ~5 months.
