Luna

In her foster's words, Luna is a cat “set to dog mode”. Luna LOVES her people and comes running the second you step in the door, meowing happily on her way. She is a lap cat to the extreme and wants to be petted, held, or curled up in a lap at all times. When no laps are available, she will settle for a spot next to you on the couch. You can carry her around like a baby, and she likes to put her paws up on your shoulder to see what's going on around her. When she's not being held, Luna enjoys participating in nightly gaming activities (keeping your lap warm)- if you get cold while playing Xbox, Luna is your gal. Luna will often put her paws up on your leg to ask to be picked up, and she loves chin scratches and neck rubs. If she wants pets, she will let you know via some light head butts. Luna also has an adorable habit of “hunting” for scrunchies and will bring them to you, meowing, to present you with her trophies. She spends most of her time lounging, but enjoys some playtime in the evenings. She loves any toy with a feather, and enjoys playing with ball towers, toy fish, and wand toys. However, Luna's favorite "toy" is hair ties. For some reason, Luna plays with them and then places them in her food bowl. One of Luna's other favorite things is her wet food. She likes it all, though she prefers fish and is not as big a fan of beef. Luna has lived with both dogs and cats, and gets along fine with both after a proper introduction. However, she really only cares about her people and would be just fine as an only cat. Luna uses her litter box perfectly, uses her cardboard scratchers anytime she wants to scratch, and is overall a perfect girl. Luna does have some anxiety which manifests on occasion as her growling at/chasing her tail. This is well managed with once a day oral meds which she takes easily. Luna is 6-7 years old, spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and is FELV/FIV negative. We love all of her quirks, and can’t wait to find her forever family!
