Machu Picchu 13

Shy, sweet, playful Machu Picchu devotes himself to playing with every bit of his energy! He is a super-hero conqueror of toy mice and birds, and goes to town on his scratcher. He instantly made friends with his foster's resident cat, and they spend a lot of time running around and playing together. He's quite the explorer, too. Machu Picchu was terrified when he first came to APA!, but now that he's in a loving foster home, he is coming out of his shell! Once he knows you, he loves to sit in your lap and get neck scratches. Machu Picchu is scared by loud noises and can easily become anxious if approached too quickly. We think he may be feeling pain from some arthritis in his hip, so that may be a contributing factor. He's on medication to help with that, which he eats in his food twice a day. Machu Picchu would love to find a calm forever home with an adult or two who will give him the time he needs to adjust and feel safe. He's likely not a good fit for homes with young kids. We think he'd do really well with a kitty buddy, as long as the other kitty is as playful as Machu is! All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip.
