My Story

Malik was found when I was in Egypt in March 2023. He was far too friendly to leave on the streets so I picked him up and brought him to my foster parent in Giza Cairo. He is now neutered, vaccinated, and treated for fleas and worms. Malik is very sweet and loving. He would prefer to be the pharaoh of the home without another cat All of our cats for adoption are sterilized, fully vaccinated, treated for fleas/worms, are negative for FIV/FELV, have a registered microchip, and come with their travel crate. Adoptions are on a cost-recovery basis and are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/11596/generic Native Mau Cats of Egypt are the oldest known descendants of Egyptian domesticated cats (which have provided a partial foundation for the recent Egyptian Mau cat breed), and they are one of only a few naturally occurring, small, spotted cats in the world. Adoptions are on a cost-recovery basis and by an approved application. NVEcats aims to increase education in Egypt and around the world about these magnificent and intelligent cats. Cats and kittens are not adopted out on a first-come, first-serve basis. We choose to match our applicants and cats based on what we deem as best suited for that particular cat or kitten.
