Hello to you all! We are MAMA HAZEL AND THE FAMOUS HOUSEKEEPER BABIES! We have come to "clean house" with our good looks, splendid personalities, and of course....the sad back story. We are the reason rescues exist!! I used to be a sad, displaced cat....all by myself in the streets of New Orleans. No one wanted me, and though us tortoiseshells should be put up on a pedestal, sadly, we are a dime a dozen. I didn't have a choice but to start turning tricks on Bourbon St., just to make ends meet. Well, that didn't turn out too well, because the "trick" was on me, and I wound up pregnant. The baby daddy doesn't deserve to be named, but let's just say he was a famous jazz trumpeter, who got around in the female feline circuit. I was quite naive, and was taken with his talents and charm, but in the end, I never got the tomcat, just his DNA in my kittens. He's become pretty famous now, and I guess I'll go ahead and name him...he's Fuzzy Gillespie, and I'm going after him for kitten support. Enough about my past....let's get on with gettin' on, and talk about adoption! You can adopt me or any of my babies by clicking on the link below. You can pre-adopt them early, and you can take them home, but they will be getting fixed through one of the many spay/neuter clinics that True Rescue is hosting. That is the deal, Lucille, and none of my babies will ever have babies! As for me, I'll be finished for good as well.
