We're listing Mandy as a special needs kitten but she doesn't need anything special other than patience. We think she may have a very mild case of traumatic brain injury as well as a deformity in her sternum - possibly from an accident of some kind at a very young age. She was brought into rescue at about 6 weeks and has never looked back. Her physical growth and development has been normal but she is still catching up cognitively. She watches the world with a slight tilt to her head and is slow to interact (unless you have canned food or churro treats). She gets along with the other kittens and will occasionally play with them but mostly plays by herself with toys. We've never heard her meow or hiss and she enjoys being petted but rarely asks for pets. Very sweet but slightly aloof. We think she's adorable and are hoping she will find a wonderful home.
