Description of pet ***The Ark of Hope Rescue does not have an adoption fee but we do ask that you consider what The Ark of Hope Rescue does for all the animals that arrive here and make a monetary donation to the rescue. All the animals that come to the rescue have been abused, abandoned or neglected. Most come with large vet bills, the only means that we have to pay our bills, food, treats, bedding, toys...supplies are by your financial donations! Also this rescue is staffed Completely by volunteers, NO paid salaries here! ***After you read Gus's biography below, if you are interested in visiting him or any other dog here at The Ark go to: www.arkofhoperescue.org under the filmstrip of pictures you will see "The Adoption Procedure" click on that, scroll down to the bottom and click on “Dog Adoption Application.” Fill it out and attach it to an email ([email protected]) You will get an email confirmation when it is received. Then as soon as possible someone from The Ark will be in touch with you. Or you can call and ask for Dianne @ 301-478-3300. ***Why are these beautiful kitties here? The Ark of Hope Rescue takes in animals that have been abused, abandoned or neglected. We have them spayed or neutered, everything that they need to start a new life with a loving family. We have a lot of cats here right now, not just the few that are pictured. Call Dianne and she will talk to you about our "cattery guests." Each of these kitties need a loving home. We don't want the to grow old living in a rescue. We have kitties here from 11 months old to 8 years old, many different colors. If you may be that person or that family that is interested in taking in a new pet / dog or cat please follow the directions above in the second paragraph and let's make a meet and greet date!
