Maraschino

This cute as can be young lady is, Maraschino. Sweet Maraschino was found as a poor pregnant kitty who was dumped on someone's property. Thankfully that kind person was able to keep her and her kittens until we had room at the shelter for them. They're all here now and they're eagerly looking for their loving forever homes. Miss Maraschino has an estimated birthdate of 6/20/22, so she's only about 2 years old. This cutie has a wonderful personality, and absolutely loves people. She lights up when she gets pets, and she reaches out of her cage to get love and attention. She is a really playful girl and her favorite things are feather wands, furry mice and catnip kitty kickers. She is bored in her cage and really wants to break out of it and land in her much deserved forever home! She is full of fun and just has too much energy to be caged up. She would love to have a great cat tree to climb and nap in. She also loves kitty cardboard scratchers, so having those for her is a must. She also doesn't turn down a kitty treat, canned food and catnip when presented to her. She seems to like other kitties and doesn't get her feathers ruffled when she sees them, so she may do fine in a home with other kitties. She hasn't been around dogs since coming to the shelter, so we aren't sure how she would do with them. Since she loves to play, she would be a great sidekick for a child, but since she can be sassy at times, it may be best that she's BFFs with a child who is just a bit older.
