My Story

Looking for a furry companion who will capture your heart in an instant? Look no further than Marshmallow, the super sweet one-eyed kitty whose charm is as irresistible as his name! Marshmallow is the ultimate lap kitty and bedtime snuggle bug, craving your attention and affection like no other. Whether he's lounging in the window hammock or basking in the sun in the catio, he's happiest when he's by your side, soaking up all the love you have to give. But there's more to Marshmallow than meets the eye - this lovable feline is a talker too! He'll greet you with a joyful meow when you come home, reminding you of the special bond you share. While he may seem mostly chill and laid-back, don't be fooled - Marshmallow's playful and silly side emerges when he's in the mood for fun. His biscuit-making skills are top-notch, a true testament to his endearing personality. When it comes to socializing, Marshmallow is a pro at making friends. He enjoys playing with other kitties and gets along famously with small dogs, making him the ideal addition to a multi-pet household. Whether he's engaging in a lively romp or snuggling up for some quality time, Marshmallow is always ready to spread joy and happiness to those around him. Marshmallow is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and has tested positive for FIV. While FIV may sound daunting, cats like Marshmallow can live long, healthy lives with the right care and attention. With proper nutrition and monitoring, he can thrive as a loving companion to your household, whether your existing cats are FIV-positive or negative. Fill out our adoption questionnaire so you can meet him in person. He is currently fostered in Fremont, CA https://form.jotform.com/pinkpawsftc/adoption a note about FIV+ CATS From time to time we host cats that have tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), which causes a weakening of a cat’s immune system. Most cats that have FIV live a long, normal lives, both in quality and longevity. They just need to be monitored for infections and dental issues. The virus is not contagious except through deep bite wounds, blood, or inherited from their mother. FIV+ cats can live in multi-cat household without resident cats contracting the virus. As their immune system can be sensitive, their health (infections and dental issues) should be monitored a little more closely than most non-FIV cats.
