Mattie

Mattie has been the easiest foster ever! She is full of joy for life and is full of curiosity. Mattie loves her space, but also loves to have company in her naps. She'll snuggle you for her naps or for the night. Mattie is amazing with her brothers and is even up for a playful challenge with them! Mattie will be the perfect addition to your home! She is such a cutie with an unfortunate back story. She was found in East Texas with severe head injuries. She really had to fight for her life. She was able to fully heal and only has a little bump to show her will to live. She truly has a huge joy for life, she is even more courageous than my two cats! For example, my two cats are scared of the broom and run away, but not Mattie! She actually goes towards it and thinks its a large toy! Her beginning: Little Mattie was found by a city worker named Matt (she was named after her first hero). She was laying in a puddle of water after a long night of rain. He took her to the city office where the foster’s daughter worked and they called her. She rushed and got her and prayed to God to save her and talked to her the whole way to the vet. She had a horrendous head wound – based on the wound, we believe she was bludgeoned or caught in a car’s engine. She deserved a chance and the foster and her husband fund raised locally (she was a couple of hours from us) and were able to take care of her expenses. She is now ready to go to her furever home. She has been moved to a foster closer to us and she is having a grand time with the other cats in the home and taking on the broom – while the other cats run, she takes in on! She’s amazing.
