Beautiful silver and black striped MEISHA was surrendered to the shelter, along with siblings Sheelah and Quinn, when her guardian realized she was unable to provide proper care for them. Since she arrived, MEISHA has put up with shots, being spayed, and finding herself in a cage with her sister. She is very unsettled by the whole thing. As a young cat, she will become more comfortable once she sees her more outgoing sisters out and about in the room. Meanwhile, she has started coming out from her hiding place for treats and careful pets, but is still very shy. She hides behind her sister Sheelah. Coming from a home with lots of cats MEISHA is ok with non-aggressive cats. At about a year, she is still young enough to want to play and be a kitten as she regains confidence that she's safe. She would probably do ok with non-aggressive dogs, as long as she is introduced slowly and safely. She should also be ok with children who are old enough to understand MEISHA is small, and they need to use gentle touch and to never squeeze or hold her tightly.
