When Merlot was found, she was pregnant and living outside in Bridgeport. She had her babies in April of 2020 and has lived with us since. All of her babies were adopted and she is still waiting for the right person to come along. Someone who is patient, knows how to handle cats with attitudes, and someone who is willing to let Merlot have her space when she needs it. She would do best in a home without children because of her sassy attitude. She loves to sit low on her cat tree and observe others, she is not very social and likes to keep to herself. Recently, we have noticed that she is waiting by the door when it's dinner time. Usually she would run away and hiss at us if the door opened, but we think she is finally making a turn around!
