Meet Miss Mia. This stunningly gorgeous girl came to our rescue when her lifelong guardian passed away. Mis is a sweet and gentle girl. And she is aching for a new lap to call her own. Mia is a bit on the quiet side but still loves to play -- and cozy cuddle time on the couch, while snuggled in blankets, is her favorite thing. Mia has tested positive for FIV. Research shows that FIV cats can live as long and healthy as non-infected cats, though they may have a weakened immune system, making viruses and infections easier to catch and harder to fight. Overall, they have the same needs as any other cat: high-quality nutrition, a clean, stress-free, strictly indoor environment, regular veterinary visits, and lots of love. Please note that our cat adoptions also require indoor-only care. To Haven, indoor-only means the cat is not left unattended or free-roaming outside.
