Mamma Mia, that's one sweet cat! Her foster mom says she's "Literally the best cat I've ever had. She is so kind and loving and loves to play. She's a gem!"
Mia is an adorable and energetic young cat ready to find her forever home. Her ideal day is spent sleeping, playing with string toys, and her ideal night is spent curling up at the foot of the bed. Mia would thrive in a quiet home that provides her enrichment as well as comfortable places to hide. She also love watching the birds from a window sill. She is a very gentle a girl and makes a great bestie!
Mia has a small limp due to an old injury which has since healed, but she doesn't let that stop her! Mia is also FIV and FeLV+ positive. Because of this she would thrive as an only cat, could live with other animals, or cohabitate with other calm FeLV+ cats!

Animal ID#: A55710
**Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) is a virus that is specific to cats that attacks and weakens a cat's immune system. Cats with FeLV can live normal, happy, healthy lives-with a shorter life expectancy than cats without FeLV. In the past, cats with FeLV in shelters were euthanized as soon as they were diagnosed. PAWS takes a different stance: we enable FeLV+ cats to live out their lives in loving homes. For more information feel free to check out the FeLV FAQs we have available on our website!**
**FIV is specific to the feline species, and is not transmissible to dogs, humans, or any other animals. It is spread from cat to cat via mating or deep puncture bite wounds. Thankfully, all our cats are spayed or neutered so mating is no longer an option! Since FIV does not spread through casual contact like grooming, sneezing, and food/litter sharing, FIV+ cats can live with other cats that have tested negative as long as the cats get along without fighting.**

When she curls into a ball or watches the birds from my windowsill. She is so gentle too so she never hurts me.
