Midge and Basil

Meet Midge and Basil! These sweet kittens are just under a year old and are ready for their forever home. Midge (F) is black and white, Basil(M) is all black. They are shy at first, but they love pets, snacks, and playtime. Midge is the braver of the two, she may be a little skittish when you first get to know her, but if you take it slow, she’ll be purring in your lap in no time. Basil is more cautious, but sometimes he just needs to watch his sister first to see how it’s done. He’s nervous about allowing pets, but lickable treats are the way to his heart. Give him time, and some strategically deployed mid-snack pets, and he’ll be walking up to you with his back arched, ready to receive some love. Both love lickable treats (specifically Churu), and both love to chase their mouse toy when you operate the wand. Basil could also entertain himself for hours simply hunting a hair tie. They both can spook easily, so a quiet, calm environment, with patient humans, would be ideal to help them thrive in their new home. Midge and Basil are a bonded pair that need each other for confidence, and therefore they must be adopted together. They are so loving, and so playful, and whoever gives them a chance will be gaining two wonderful additions to their family. Please indicate on the adoption application that you are interested in Midge and Basil fostered by Glenmont PetSmart. Kitten Angels is a non profit, volunteer organization. We rely solely on fostering, volunteers, donations, and adoption fees. An adoption fee of $350 ($175 per cat/kitten) for this bonded pair must be paid at the time of adoption by either cash or check. All of our adoptable animals are assessed in foster homes, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed or neutered and tested for FeLV/FIV. Medical records will be released with the adopted pet.
