Mikey was originally trapped as a kitten, and the intention of putting him back with his colony dissipated when his feeder chose to keep him instead. He has always been skittish, easily startled into hiding. But when he is comfortable with his person, he is truly good for the soul. Mikey will curl up and hold on to his person, purring loudly, reducing tension and high blood pressure. His person had to go to a nursing home, and he’s feeling a little lost. He’s hoping to land somewhere and regain a home, and a best friend. Mikey is good with other cats, house trained, gentle and sweet. He’s a big boy, weighing in at 13lbs at his last checkup.
