My Story

12/3/09: I fostered both Miley and her one baby kitten MiMi. MiMI was so tiny, Miley a new Mom so they both needed extra attention. I found a wonderful home for Miley. Then when MiMI was ready to be adopted I asked the person who adopted Miley if he would adopt MiMI and he did. Now Mom and Daughter are living together in a wonderful home: Adopted! New Dads Miley notes:

She's doing great! She didn't roam around too much the first few days--she explored the house but then either spent her time on the couch, on the window sill, or on a shelf in an alcove where I have a bed for her. She's been playing a lot more the last few days though!

She's been a real pleasure so far--she's a good, kind, gentle cat. She let me cut her claws and didn't put up any fuss at all. At night she sleeps right next to me.

Miley and Mimi are great! They get along well and we all seem to enjoy each other's company. I never realized how much joy a pet could bring--I find myself looking forward to coming home from work every day just so that I can see them!
