Meet Millie! She’s a stunning tortie who’s almost one year old! Millie had a rough start to life. She was out on the streets all alone, eventually finding her way into a TNR trap. She was fixed, ear tipped, and was supposed to be released back outside but was placed into foster care due to her young age. She lived in a large crate until she found a foster with socialization experience. Since being with her new foster she’s come around a lot! She started out hiding behind the oven completely horrified of everything and everyone. Now Millie coexists with the other cats and humans in her foster home, spending most of her time lounging under the bed or playing with her new best friend Hamilton. Millie still does not accept pets, but she’s so much more comfortable around humans now! She finally feels comfortable walking around the house, eating in front of people, and no longer hisses when her foster parents get close to her. Millie is a special girl. She requires an adopter with patience and love who understands that she is still in the process of being socialized. Someone who values her presence and loves her from the distance she’s comfortable with. Her foster parents are confident that with enough time, love, and patience she can blossom into an incredibly sweet house cat! Millie absolutely adores other cats, she comes alive when they’re around. She’s pretty vocal when she wants to play with her foster siblings, chirping adorably to get their attention. She loves kibble, her water fountain, sleeping in boxes, and playing chase with her foster siblings. Millie must be in a home with at least one other cat in order to continue her progress towards socialization.
