Minthara is a gorgeous 4-year old female kitty who was surrendered by her family on April 1, 2024 along with several of her siblings/relatives who had shared her home (including her daughter Karlach). All of these kitties were very much loved but their family made the difficult decision that they just had too many cats, so they parted with most of them in hopes that they would each find another loving home.
Minthara is actually the mother of several of the kitties who came in together and is the 'matriarch' of the family (a bit of genealogy and background of their family tree) (smile).
Minthara gave birth to two additional kittens on April 3, 2024 and eventually she and her daughter Karlach began sharing a double-wide cage So mother and daughter raised their babies together. Both are empty-nesters now since neither of Karlach's kittens survived, and Minthara's two kittens (Bumble Bee and Honey Bee) have been weaned and separated from their mother.
Minthara has a gray tabby-and-white short smooth coat, a long ringed tail, and a beautiful face with emerald green eyes, a pink nose, and long white whiskers.
This delightful girl has an affectionate, outgoing personality.
Minthara was given vaccinations, wormer, and flea treatment on April 2, 2024. She weighed 9.4 lbs that day. Minthara was given booster vaccines on May 7, 2024.
Minthara and Karlach are very bonded with each other and have remained together. These girls are like kittens once again .. very playful and dearly love each other. Minthara is often seen grooming Karlach, and they are always snuggled up as close to each other as possible. We have listed them as a bonded pair since we feel that it is in their best interest to find a home together.
Minthara and Karlach were both spayed on June 25th and were also given rabies vaccine.
This mother-daughter duo is ready to find a fantastic home together either through adoption or rescue.
