MISO is a lovely tabby with beautiful, expressive eyes, and a lovely coat. This pretty lady found herself on the At Risk list at NYC ACC eight (8) times, having been adopted and returned at least twice for behavioral issues. The problem was simply that Miso has a tendency to become over-stimulated when petted, so after 30 seconds of enjoyable head-scratching, Miso would go on the defensive and became aggressive. This problem essentially has been remedied. Place For Cats' vet prescribed 100 mg of gabapentin daily. After just a few weeks of this provided by Miso's loving foster mom, Miso relaxed into the settled family member seen in the photos of her with Loki, the foster's own kitty. Miso has calmed down considerably and no longer is getting the gabapentin. Please contact us for videos that show how Miso likes to interact and now loves to be petted!!! MISO is healthy, 2 years old, spayed, FeLV/FIV tested negative, current in vaccinations and microchipped. MISO's ideal home would be in a home with one other kitty who will allow her to be her independent self and who will not attempt to dominate her. Miso also would be great passive company in a quiet home.
