Meet Mini Miss Misty! Misty is a little heart-stealer who is waiting to bring her forever home a lifetime of cuddles, purrs, and laughs. She's a bit of a shy girl when you first meet her, but once she gets comfortable with you she may never leave your side! Here's 10 fun facts about Misty: 1) Misty has congenital hypothyroidism, which is rare in cats. Without thyroid hormone, Misty has a very slow metabolism. UC Davis has been taking care of her medical needs, and she is contributing valuable information to help future kitties like her! 2) Misty takes inexpensive thyroid replacement medicine twice a day that she LOVES to eat with a good snack. With her medicine, she lives a normal cat life. 3) Misty has stunted growth, so she will likely be a very petite adult. 4) Misty's back legs are a little bowed outwards, so she often walks/runs more like a rabbit than a cat. 5) Favorite toys include: Ziploc bags, literal garbage, her tail, and wand toys. 6) Her goatee makes her a very handsome lady. 7) Misty is super social with other cats and LOVES to play with her friends. 8) Misty lifts her butt like no other cat when you scratch her back. 9) Misty accepts free belly scritches. 10) Misty's tail is extremely long and she often wags it like a dog.
