Mittens

Meet Mittens! He is two years old and a very beautiful and special boy who endured a lot of pain and struggle before he was rescued. From day one of his rescue, even with the pain he was in, Mittens was full of love, and he continues to spread it all around him, showering everyone with affection. You can tell his amazing personality from the first minute you meet him. He will rub against your legs and give you head bumps to show how happy he is to be in your company, and he will follow you around like a dog. He is ready to become your best friend and closest companion. Before his rescue, Mittens has been through a lot in his young life. He was found very sick by a Good Samaritan who alerted Cat Crew about a cat in a critical condition. When he came to his foster family, Mittens was extremely emaciated, with his eyes closed shut from the illness and half of his fur and skin was missing. It isn't an exaggeration to say he was saved from the brink of death. Thankfully, Mittens proved to be a resilient fighter with an immensely strong will to live! He was grateful to be taken into the safety of a real home, but he had a long road to recovery ahead of him. All throughout the healing process Mittens was a brave sweet guy who never stopped purring, even through vet appointments and during medical treatments. Everyone adored him at the vet and were surprised and relieved to see how strong and brave Mittens is and how well he was recovering. Mittens is all healed and healthy now, and what a happy boy he is! He is in absolute awe of the world around him now that he has no pain, and his skin, fur, and eyesight are fully back to normal. Just one thing is missing: his forever person. Mittens loves people and cannot wait to meet his family and go to his forever home! Mittens is one of the neatest cats we have ever rescued. He keeps his litter box and food station in immaculate condition. He is also very respectful of the property around the house and never leaves any mess around or knocks down anything. If you are looking for a best friend for life, someone very affectionate who never leaves your side and happily greets you when you walk into the room, if you enjoy receiving head bumps, hearing soft meowing and purring, then Mittens is your guy. He would love to lay next to you on a couch or keep you company in the kitchen. Mittens will adore you and will always remain grateful; that's just the guy he is. Mittens enjoys playing with toys and will never refuse a dash of catnip which he equally enjoys. He is a quiet, laidback fellow who likes napping on a windowsill or watching birds fly by. Mittens prefers to be the only cat in his home, and he is also afraid of dogs. He would probably be okay with fish. Mittens is fully vetted, including neutered, vaccinated, microchipped. He is FeLV negative and FIV positive. If you open your heart and home to this sweetest, gentlest, kindest gentleman, you will have an abundance of happy days with a cat who will love you unconditionally!
