Monica the Snuggler

Monica is around 3 years old and arrived at Charlie's Army with her newborn kittens, all of whom have found their homes. Now it's her turn! This little lady is the sweetest cat. A purrfect angel, she loves rubbing up against people and receiving ear and chin scratches, and even the occasional belly rubs. She is so gentle with people and could be quite good with children, since she is very calm and loving. Monica is not often vocal, and even her purr is very quiet. She shows her affection through physical touch. Monica enjoys playing with string toys and little springs, and she absolutely loves napping on a sunny windowsill or rug. She can frequently be found snoozing in a cat tree or other hidey-hole she discovered, or chasing after a bug. She's an excellent bug-hunter! Monica doesn't love to be picked up, preferring to stay on the ground, but will tolerate it, especially for a treat, snack, or cuddle. She is very food motivated and breakfast is her favorite time of day. She is also a big fan of sitting in a lap snuggling during a Netflix binge watch (her current favorite show is Bridgerton). Her other interests include bird-watching, crochet, and meditation. Basically, she loves any activity where she can calmly sit with her people and observe. Monica is fostered with dogs and other cats, and while she doesn't mind playful or rambunctious other pets, she prefers calm companions who share her love of napping and gentle play.
