Monroe is a social cat but takes a second to warm up to new people and places. She overstimulates easily with petting and will take some time to adjust and grow comfortable with her surroundings. To make her transition easier, a slow acclimation in a single room until she's confident and comfortable with her surroundings would be best for Monroe. She would do best in a home as the only pet and with adults. Monroe loves hanging outside in the sun in the summer, and a catio, enclosed backyard, or harness training could benefit her!
