ABOUT MORNING Morning is about 5 years old and came to HAP when his owners could no longer keep him. Understandably, after living in a home, he had some reservations and nerves in the shelter. Morning has since opened up to our staff, proving to be the snuggliest boy. He craves attention and affection from his human friends now. When he's not curled up in his cozy bed, he can usually be found exploring our playroom and watching the birds. Morning usually prefers self-play and enjoys his 'me time'. He loves to bat around puff balls or shiny toys the most. Morning is sure to let you know when he wants something, with a sweet meow. He has met other cats and does not have a lot of patience for them, so a home without other cats is preferable. If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.
