Due to a high volume of inquiries, only applicants matching the adopter profile will be contacted.*** Meet Mousey, a confident and talkative little cat who doesn't let being on the small side stop him asserting himself when cuddles are required. Estimated birthdate 04/15/2023. This guy has come a long way since entering care extremely underweight and with bad flea dermatitis. The only indication of this past is some thin hair still regrowing on his hind end. He's very happy spending a day snoozing in a sunbeam or on a lap but also enjoys playtime and will quickly adapt to a new home. He's fairly independent and good at making human friends. Currently he is not living with another kitty but did like to chat and approach one that isn't a fan of other kitties in his previous foster and he may do well with a slow introduction. He can take a bit of time to come out of his shell when in a new environment but once he's comfortable he has nothing but stories to tell you! Mousey needs a diet of wet pate food only fed in a raised bowl as he has a congenital defect where he has an area of his digestive system where the food sits longer before it goes down fully. When triggered this causes him to regurgitate food and has been minimized with wet pate food feeding.
