Mr. Puss in Boots was showing up for meals at an industrial site in Newark NJ and he was limping so badly the last few times that his feeder reached out for help. He could barely walk but she coaxed him to the trap, and that led to his receiving the best possible care for his woes! Bite wounds on both right feet, and an abscess on his flank that needed surgical intervention. And he's all healed up and clean and just as sweet as he can be!
And we just have to ask again: how did a terrific cat like him wind up scrambling to survive on the street??
Estimated born early 2019.
Somewhere along the line he acquired FIV but he is having no issues.
He is remarkably sweet and loves receiving and showing affection. The vet's office hung onto him for a while to ensure he healed up properly and everyone fell in love with him. They said he seemed unbothered by other cats and even dogs he encountered while spending time at the vet's place.
He's got a great appetite, has been dewormed, flea treated, and his bloodwork looks good.
His colorings are beautiful and his disposition is great. He is a good-sized cat, not petite.
He's in foster care but there's no free-roaming space available so for now he is in a large cage. He'd love to get out and become the apple of your eye in a real forever home of his own. This guy seriously deserves a break!
