My Story
Hi, I’m Ms. Comet! I am one year young, and was rescued when I was 4 months old. Don’t get me wrong – I’m so grateful for the love and attention I have been given since then. At the same time, I am a strong and independent woman, who is not satisfied depending just on my spectacular looks. While some cats are happy just lounging around and sitting on laps, I have work to do. Looking this good takes some effort, after all.
As you can see from my photos, I am quite a beauty. And, like a beautiful comet, my tail is something to behold. It is bushy, and I wave it around for all to appreciate. Now, down to business – I can’t do this all on my own, so I’m looking for roomies who will appreciate a girl like me: someone to see to my needs, make sure my meals are prepared, and who knows when to break out the toys and play. And, although I’m independent, I feel my best when at least one roomie is present in case I have a request. I am content to exercise and play by myself, but I do like a good teaser if my roomies are so inclined. I am ok spending time alone as long as my roomies make arrangements for my care during absences. I am really a very low-maintenance roommate.
At the same time, I must have the best seat in the house and love to daydream in the sun. To keep a trim figure, I do 20 minutes of zoomies daily. I have two foster brothers who try to exercise with me, but their pace and form is terrible so I prefer to zoom alone.
I am very shy at first, but with patience and time, I open up quickly to my human companions. I am very sweet and kind. Right now, I am skittish with sudden movements, chaos, and loud noises, so I would be happier in a quiet home without young children. As I am quite independent, I would be completely fine as an only cat. I do have foster siblings, so I am used to other cats. I am a Diva, though, so would be happiest with passive/older cats. I have not lived with dogs, but I think as long as they are lazy and don’t chase after me, I could adjust. I have lived my whole life with my sister Cybil. We are not bonded, so we don’t have to be adopted together, but it would be a bonus if we were. I have all my vaccinations and am spayed. If you’re looking for a feline roommate that is independent yet affectionate, look no further because I’m your girl!
