Murray is such a sweet, loving kitten. He has just the energy that you would expect of a kitten, he loves to run, chase any toys you have for him, and play with his sister Maisy. He is also very intuitive to the energy levels around him. When his sister wants to go all out, he is there for that. When she's not interested in tumbling about, he's happy to move on to chase a ball. He is much more cautious of the two, and looks to her to check out a new area or situation first. Even though she's smaller, she proudly stands watch and it seems to be such a comfort to him. While she will quickly explore a new area, he will carefully and slowly explore, all while chirping softly to her. He is good at independent play, but absolutely loves interactive play, whether it's tossing a ball for him, or waving a teaser wand so that he can have big jumps to get it. I'm not sure how long it would take for him to run out of energy on his own, as once again he takes the cue from his sister. Once he's noticed she's not playing, he'll call for her and find she's decided it's time for people scratches. He will climb up into the space she's being cradled to get some of those good ear rubs and chin scratches for himself. Then he headbutts her and snuggles right in, as they start their purr engines at top volume. He is usually content to stay cuddled with the human, but once it's truly bedtime, they snuggle up, which is how we find them more often than not. Interested in meeting this little guy? Apply today!
