My Story

Poor Patty was turned in by an owner who could no longer care for her. Patty is a gorgeous 8-year-old Maine Coon mix who has lived exclusively as an indoor cat. This beautiful girl is hard to resist! She is very affectionate and immediately comes to you for some petting. She loves to give head butts and purrs as soon as you start to pet her. Then she will flop over on her back and beg for some belly rubs!

Patty is now looking for a new family to love her and give her the attention she needs. In addition to lots of love, this pretty girl will need some regular grooming to keep her coat in top condition. Looking for a beautiful Maine Coon? Pretty Patty may be the one for you!

Patty is eligible as part of our Mature Companions Program.

Our Mature Companions program is designed to strengthen and promote the human-animal bond for senior humans and senior felines.

Cats 8 years and older can have a fairly difficult time of getting adopted when competing with younger cats and kittens. Additionally, senior cats often experience depression when they enter the shelter. Being adopted by a senior human (60 years and older) who understands their calm nature and need for companionship is a perfect match for these senior cats.

Program Benefits

  • Reduced Adoption Fee of $40
  • Free Office Visits at the CAT Hospital
  • Free Annual Comprehensive Health Exam
  • 10% off Preventive Care
  • 10% off any other veterinary services
  • Lifetime return guarantee to the shelter if the health of the senior should require to give up the cat
  • Follow-up visits at the senior's residence by the adoption counselor or other CAT volunteer
  • Access to Adoption Counselors for any questions or concerns
