The American Humane Society sponsors Adopt-a-Cat Month every June to draw attention to the millions of the kitties who are stuck in our shelters. To celebrate, we are reducing our adoption fees for the month of June! So please consider adopting a kitty this month!

You can save animals like Peggy by becoming a foster! Fosters are like way stations between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save cats before they are euthanized at the shelters, so that they have more time to find a permanent family. We brought Peggy up to keep another kitten company who has been adopted. She is being fostered with cats, dogs and children and she is not afraid of any of them. Peggy is a special girl. Her right hind leg is missing below the knee due to a birth defect. She is still very spunky and suffers no ill effects from her handicap. She is social, outgoing and loving. She uses her litterbox and has even learned to go up and down stairs.

Peggy is a tortie female. She is being fostered with Possum and would love to go to a home with him. He has really helped her learn how to be a kitten.

Coat Type: DSH tortie

Personality: social, spunky and sweet

Peggy has had age appropriate vetting and is negative for FIV/FeLV. The adoption fee is $50 for one or $100 for Peggy and Possum.
