My Story
Dig into this delightful dish Pilaf! Pilaf was originally adopted from PAWS as a kitten, along with one of her siblings, but was unfortunately surrendered back to us when some behavior concerns popped up after children were born into the home (both towards the babies, but also towards her littermate). Considering this, Pilaf would do best in a home as your only pet and not around any young kids. But what is Pilaf like when she has you and a whole space to herself? A literal Angel! Her appreciation for being in a stress-free setup will provide you with plenty of cuddles and endearing moments for years to come while Pilaf provides a perfect balance between independence and a desire to be near you. She also enjoys her playtime, but due to a luxating patella on her back right knee we wouldn't recommend training her for any Olympic level acrobatic (also keeping her weight down to minmize stress on her joints).
Pilaf can keep herself occupied with scratching posts and toy balls, however, she does really appreciate some company when playing with a laser pointer. Pilaf would flourish in a home where she is the only cat, and with older teens that know to respect her status as self proclaimed beauty queen. Come meet this sight for sore eyes and relish in all of her beauty!
