When it comes to relationships, I'm very level-headed. I don't leap in paws first, if you know what I mean. But give me a little time, and then I'll shower you with purrs, head-butts, and plenty of lap time. In the meantime, you may not see a lot of me - but I'll be thinking of you!
Interesting Stuff About WINKY:
WINKY is listed as a “Flame Point Siamese” mix. Flame Points are an extraordinarily beautiful type of Siamese cat. According to Wikipedia, “A Flame Point Siamese is the term applied by non breeders to a cat that has Siamese ancestry but sports "points" or colors on ears, paws and tail of an orange/apricot color. Many of these cats have a likeness to Himalayan and Persians with orange points!” Winky looks like a big puff ball with his orangey apricot coloring and long’sh fur. He is stunning, immediately catching your eye when you see him. Of course, his baby blue eyes just add to his irresistibility. One look into those eyes and you are a goner.
Winky was recently returned to the shelter after his adopters gave birth to a baby boy. Generally, this is not a problem; however, Winky kept trying to cuddle with the baby and due to his size was giving the parents quite a scare. Winky is now looking for his next ‘forever’ home. We were told by his previous adopters that he is affectionate, a great lap cat, likes to be held, and loves to be petted. He is fearful of other cats; therefore, it would be best that he be the one and only. We are very sure that once Winky is part of your home he will be all that you need. He’s loving, he’s beautiful, and he will always be there for you. Winky will do well with adults only or in a family with older children.
