1/8/05 Placed into Bergamasco Rescue
UPDATE: 1/3/05 A viewer has written suggesting that this dog may be a BERGAMASCO, this is the closest description we have encountered to date. This breed is not listed in our pull-down menu, so the history of the breed comes from the sheepdog - so that is what we are calling this dog for now.
UPDATE: 12/30/04 Bill has been to the groomer and they had no choice but to shave him down. So here he is! We are asking the experts opinion on what breed they think Bill is. The groomer guessed him to be about three years old.
This is an owner turn-in dog that WE KNOW NEEDS GROOMED!!! This dogs coat has been neglected for sometime, but has been well fed and cared for otherwise. He has an appointment at the groomers tomorrow. We are told this is an old english sheepdog with terrier markings. We will find out on the 29th when he is groomed what REALLY lays under all that hair! His name is Bill, and he has been neutered.
