Adopted!Cindy

Cindy was adopted 4/10!

• 1.8 years old
• 17.5 lbs
• White with little apricot.
• No young children (< 5 years old)
• No cats/No large dogs
• Crate trained
• House trained so far
• Fenced in yard: preferred
• Not o.k. for apt./townhouse
• Activity level: moderate to high

Cindy is a very sweet, active and very smart girl. She knows many of her commands and seems to be house trained. However, she needs work on walking on leash and jumping on people. She's not very big, but she is enthusiastic and could easily knock over a small child. She would like to play with other dogs, but is a little leary at first.

She has a big bark for a little girl, so we don't think she would do well in an apartment/condo. And because she is so energetic, she would love to have a fenced in yard.

She was badly matted when she came out of the shelter, so had to be clipped quite short. Her tail was so long it brushed the floor. If you like serious grooming, her hair will grow, but I think she looks great clipped.

All in all Cindy is a happy, happy dog who needs her special permanent guardian.

Currently Cindy is expecting to attend April 24th's show at the Bowie PetSmart. As we are an all volunteer organization, however, sometimes higher priorities change the plans of even the most dedicated fosters, so please check back the morning of the show in case plans have changed.
