3/20/06 Alan is such a snuggler. He would much rather be held and loved on then play. He does enjoy a good game of fetch with his favorite ball. Alan is very shy at first and timid around men. He crawls on his belly to his foster mom and dad for added cute effect. Which works ever time because look at those eyes! Alan like Alex sleeps in an open crate with cats and other foster dogs. They have been in a home with small children and several other pets and do well with all. . Alan Needs a home where he can get much more love and attention than he gets at his foster mom's 12/19/05 When one of our shelter friends in WV contacted us about "having to make room" in their high-kill shelter, we stepped up to the plate to see how we could help only to find some of the cutest young dogs and pups waiting on "death row." Alan and his brother Alex were two such pups. Alan is only 14# and such a sweet fellow with tons of personality. It takes him a few minutes to warm up initially, but then he wants to play and be a cuddle monkey. Due to the short hair on his little face, he tends to be very expressive and you can almost see what he's thinking before he makes a move! He does well with the other dogs and as seen in the last picture ~cuddles with the kitties. Alan just loves any attention showered on him. We believe the first part of his life he must not of had any love. Won't you help to make his holidays bright by giving him a NY welcome and a permanent home? Adoptions limited to a 500 mile radius of Pulaski, NY and pets must be viewed in person by all family members prior to adoption; animals will not be shipped to their new homes.
