My Story

Update from Amigo's new family;

Hi Cassandra,

Amigo is doing great and has fit right in with us. He spends most of his day curled up on our sectional with Austin. We run both of them in the morning and after work and they are both having a blast with each other.

We have had 2 accidents in the house but that was to be expected early on through the transition. Nothing to report on that front over the past few days.

We have noticed that he is very nervous of men. He is great with me but with other males he is very timid. My parents live in my basement in the winter months with us and he is very reluctant to go downstairs. With some coaxing we can get him down there. We are working on this with him and spending time with my parents and Amigo everyday to try and help him adjust to them and the scary basement. My dad is doing his beat to show Amigo a ton of love as he is a bit taken back with him as the other male in the house.

All and all he is doing very well and we love him to death. We have a true friend for life with Amigo!

Thanks again for all of your help through the process.

I will keep sending you updates as things continue with his new life and family.

Have a great day!

Chad
