AMIRA Amira is a very petite year old female. Still a puppy she has already produced a litter. Due to her level of intelligence, I'm sure she got into some mischief while left to her own devices and because of that ended up tethered outside. Who knows what happened to her puppies but she was unceremoniously dumped along a busy interstate while still showing signs of nursing. She has had a tough couple of months and hasn't known much stability in her short life but we are working hard to change things for her. She has been a wonderful student and is getting the hang of crate training and a schedule that seems to be working very well for her. So far she doesn't seem to have any ingrained bad habits, just needs to learn what is expected of her. Amira would do well in a multiple dog household, she has been exposed to many while in foster care and really enjoys their company. She licked the cats during her vet visit and wagged her little tail. Kids would be fine but maybe at least 6 or 7 years of age. She will scale my four foot chain link fence but only if she is out alone, we do not trust her, so she is always supervised. When we are out with her she never strays too far from our side. She is not a real high energy Dobie and should be easy to incorporate into the right forever home.
