August is a likeable little guy. He LOVES getting his belly rubbed, loves shoveling his nose in warm grass, and walks well on a leash. He is friendly to other dogs, appears to be around 3 years old, and is unneutered. He will go through the Animal Population Control Program, ensuring his neutering and vaccination upon adoption. He is not a big guy, great size for a condo life, and has silky soft ears!
Update: 09/05/06 He stole someone's heart, just a minute after meeting, and hopefully will be going to a home where he will live a long, healthy life.
Update: 09/09/06: August became Rex, and now has a great home full of beds to "shovelnose" his way through. A boy has a new friend, and a dog has a life he was meant to have!
UPDATE: 11/02/06: Rex is one happy dog. He gets a walk every day, and on the weekends is taken for a long nature hike in a state forest. He loves his new home, and works like crazy protecting it. He has bonded exceptionall well with everyone and his future looks golden!
