Bam Bam is a very very sweet 2 yr old (he is celebrating his birthday today, 7/16) French Bull Dog (neutered) and is looking for a very special home. He's up-to-date on his vaccines, heart worm, flea/tick meds too. His given name is Angus, but Bam Bam is what he answers to - and very fitting since he solid as a tank! Don't let the small size fool you because he can get over, around and on top of just about any obstacle. He loves people and was raised with another French Bull Dog. Unfortunately his previous owner had to relinquish him to our group due personal reasons and having to move where she can only have one dog. He never had too much company so when anyone comes in the door he jumps a lot out of excitement and wants to play, play and play; oh and he's quite the kisser too.
He is very smart and cuddly. He loves to play catch and tug of war. He is somewhat of a "velcro" dog as he likes to be wherever you are. His is perfectly house trained, absolutely no aggression in this guy. He does have a slight tendency to have some separation issues. He would be best suited to a home with older children because when he is excited he jumps and could possibly knock down a small child. I think he would be fine with another dog and possibly cats. He has never shown any aggression to cats according to his previous owner.
He can sleep in his crate as long as he is near you, but he has always slept in the same bed as his human....and she didn't mind that he snored either. Bam Bam also has some slight allergies, but nothing very specific. He's somewhat of a holdout on his dog food as he prefers people food, so this is something the foster mom is working on with him. His ears get wiped out nightly with an alcohol free baby wipe and he gets drops in them as needed. Once in awhile he needs an over the counter allergy pill.
Bam Bam would be forever grateful to find his forever home where he can jump, play, love and kiss to his heart's content.
