Bandit has found his forever home with the Alves family in Brockton, MA
Meet handsome Bandit: he is a one yr old Belgian Mallinois who was left at a vet clinic in the south. Our boy is 60 lbs of fun: and such a playful boy he is! He is crate trained and knows some basic commands like sit: we are having him cat tested. We would prefer him to go to a home familiar with this breed: Mallinois are a high energy dog: not the best choice for being left in an apartment 8 hours/day while someone is at work! But put them with an active family or couple and you will have the dog of a lifetime! With appropriate exercise these dogs are smart, loyal and downright fun companions! Brilliant at obedience and agility this is a dog that really wants to please! Because we do not know Bandit's history with small children we will not be placing him with families with children under 6 yrs old: he is not at all aggressive but is still young and enthusiastic! His adoption fee is $375.
Please complete an
online APPLICATION if you wish to adopt. Forever Home Rescue New England is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.
Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to "do their business" outdoors.
