Bessie is a female Terrier mix puppy, possibly mixed with Jack Russell Terrier. Bessie is estimated at 7 wks of age (7/29/09). Bessie and her siblings, Chessie, Jessie and Tessa, came to the shelter when they were only about 3 wks of age. They have been raised by shelter staff and now are finally getting old enough and strong enough to be adopted. Bessie is quite the cutie pie with her rough scruffy face. She looks almost identical to her sister Jessie except for the blaze on their faces. Bessie's is wider than Jessie's. Bessie is an adorable puppy with lots of personality and why someone would dump out such a precious litter is beyond our understanding. Luckily, we were able to save them. They have been started on vaccinations and deworming and will be spayed prior to leaving us.
