Billy Joe is looking for a special home!! This 9 year old Mr Charming, was taken to a shelter when his master took very ill. Billy Joe was just lost without his master in his life. Ever faithful, this wonderful CALM boy of 97 pounds (needs a diet & exercise program!) put total trust in the Gerdy’s team to help him find his forever home for his retirement years. You will not be sorry! This exceptional boy is calm with people, other friendly dogs, as well as cats.  He has a very intelligent face, old soul eyes that are interested in all around him, and eager expression to learn more from life. What an exceptional buddy he will be, appreciating nice walks, watching tv, curling up to good music, or just hanging out lovingly and devotedly—this is a GREAT dog in the tradition of Lassie as he is a Rough Collie crossed with Bernese Mountain Dog we think, a Big Boy more resembling the Collie heritage with Bernese size.  Billy Joe knows he won’t be around forever, but he is ready to make someone very truly contented who takes him on. Very good in the car as well and housetrained. Beautiful colouring, he is a real redhead on top of his head! Long hair that yes, needs brushing, we will have him groomed as he likely will need extensive mats removed as his master was unable to keep him brushed. We will have that done, ready to start his new life.  Neutered, up to date on his vaccines, Max 5, Rabies, and Bordatella, heartworm tested negative, dewormed & no fleas. Is Billy Joe the soulmate you have been seeking?
